The first exhibition in the Ars Poetica series. Artwork Inspired by Poems was organized around a simple proposition: artists from the JG roster were invited to respond to a curated selection of juried poems. The resulting works were not illustrations — they were responses, translations, arguments.
The show established a format that JG has returned to and developed across multiple exhibitions — the invitation to respond to language rather than subject, to make work that holds a different kind of conversation with the viewer. Works from this exhibition remain available. Inquire for terms.
