The Pacific Northwest does not lack for water. This is the defining fact of the landscape — the constant presence of Puget Sound, the rain, the rivers, the tide. The Gift of Water was organized around what artists do with that presence: the painters who study it, the sculptors whose materials carry its mark.
Ericka Wolf's Agate Passage named the show's central subject — that particular channel between Bainbridge Island and the Olympic Peninsula where tidal forces make the water move in visible patterns. Works from this exhibition remain available. Inquire for current inventory and terms.
