Mixed media on salvaged cedar. Square panel with vertical grain in warm brown and tan. A large circular disk of teal-green dye sits centered — partially transparent, the cedar grain visible underneath. The edges are clean and defined. Two wooden blocks protrude from the bottom edge — McConnell’s construction background turned formal decision: a functional element made structural.
